  1. Acronis kernal panicked each time I tried to use it. Download from Crucial and WD gave the same results. Also Windows decided that the install wasn't genuine after the clone. Its why we just love the Seattle idiots!

  9. So after going through all of your steps can I just simply power off my laptop replace my hard drive and plug in a new ssd and it should bootup no problem? Is there anything we need to format or type in cmd prompt with the new ssd drive afterwards or should it function as normal?

  12. Just thought I would share this. I bought the crucial SSD drive and tried the Acronis software that came with it. To make a long story short, the software it came it with did not work. I had to buy the Acronis full version off their website for $29.99 and it worked like a charm following your video. I am not sure what the difference is?
  13. Can I clone only the OS partition to the SSD? I got 2 partitions of my 1TB drive, 120gb for the OS and 820gb for my personal data. is it possible to clone one partition only and not the whole drive?
