after i clicked on Efax or whatever its called to work on PC and MAC it erased my new drive and said done completed but i dont not see it on my desktop or finder ? should it just unplug it an plug it back in and see if it pops up?

Never been an apple fan and once again they have proven that their system is shit. Why would I want to delete data on my drive to copy over a few photos. Same as their ipads - no USB support - what are they thinking. Anything apple has a use - as a boat anchor. Can do anything to do with file transfers faster on PC and Android. Sorry I bought a mac and Ipad , still using my PC and Android tablet. Apple need to "unlock" their propriety software bullshit and work across other platforms.

I need to copy some movies to my old external harddisk, but I don't wanna format it because i will lose all my files in mt external hardisk.. so how can do it without formatting it?

i have way too many photos & videos on my macbook but when i copy and pasted my iPhoto to the external drive it prompted done immediately. I have this serious doubt that it didn't actually load and if i look through it i will only go through the iPhoto app from within my computer. Can someone help with this to verify when i can begin to free up space on my macbook?

I'm having a little problem, when I paste an item from my external hard drive to my mac usually the original/default icon of the folder is shown, not the icon I switched it to. Also happens with my files. They work perfect, except the icon is not pasted correctly (Shows original/default icon and I usually change the icons of folders and files.) How can I fix this problem?
