there's no 'security' option when I click the properties of my System Volume Information

Grt Video, it has deleted or hidden. I don't know but it worked, hopefully it removed completely...You r doing grt job!!!! keep working😊

I did exactly as the video does and then when hit OK after I check off the boxes, is get an error message ".......access is denied

That's awesome! Great solution. Spent hours trying to find a way to delete. Was going to boot into Linux and do there.

I don't have any of those folders, my computer menus don't include those options, and the ancient 1990s mouse click sounds are wicked annoying.

There's no security option on the folder :(

there is easy way to remove "System Volume Information", you can't remove that folder but you can remove file inside it if you want to free up space. follow this way
1. Open File Explorer
2. Right Click on "This PC" select Properties
3. Click System Protection.
4. Select drive where you want to remove System Volume Information. ex : D
5. Click on "D" then click Configure
6. Choose "Turn on system protection" click apply and delete
7. After that, click disable system protection then click apply again
8. Finally you have more free space :D -

but my pc show "chkdsk" in folder system volume information and that can't delete ?

For window 10
go to ur control panel by tapping right click on window
then go to Appearance and personalization
then tap on File explorer options
then 'view' tab
then go down and tick on Hide protected operating system files(recommended).
and they will ve disappeared. -
