This video shows you how to do a clean erase of your hard drive, and a fresh installation of the Snow Leopard OS. Before you re-format or install, MAKE SURE you backup all your important data (Time Machine/Manually) so you can have them just incase. At one point in the process, your hard drive will be totally erased. If you have any problems, don't hesitate to leave a comment below, and I will answer them as soon as I can. So far, comparing a normal update install to a clean install, the clean install runs much smoother, and barely crashes. I recommend that for new operating systems, clean installs are the safest and best way to go. Thank you for watching! Twitter: http://twitter.com/SirOliv3r E-Mail: applegpro@live.com

  7. Hi there! I've followed the start-up steps several times, but every time after I select the install disk, I just get a screen with the apple logo, and it never changes over to the menu. The longest I've waited is 30 minutes. Could it take longer than that, or is there just something wrong with my machine?
