**THIS METHOD IS ONLY FOR THOSE WITHOUT A TIME MACHINE BACKUP. If you DO have a Time Machince backup, simply restore from that!** Hopefully this will help a lot of you guys out that mistakenly installed Mac OS X Lion 10.7 Beta/Developer Preview or Mountain Lion (10.8) over your main Snow Leopard installation. Please rate the video, and if you liked it a LOT, please favorite! :) Thanks for watching guys!

  1. Great tutorial video! I see why it has so many views. For anyone wondering this method is still viable today. I used to to dual boot OS Sierra and OS Mavericks. Great use. Can also be used to transfer files from on OS to the next when downgrading. TWO THUMBS WAY WAY UP!
  2. Exactly what I was trying to do, except I'm downgrading from Sierra to El Capitan, and more concerned with proper migration of my apps so they're useable. Got a general idea from your vid, despite the fact it's dated. Thanks.
  3. Thank you! I am using this video to make my mac run two OSes: OS X Yosemite (the newest OS the the new UI) and OS X Mavericks (The slightly older one with the slightly older UI)

  15. Would this be faster if you just make empty partitions with data, and overwrite the main with with snow leopard? I'd think you'd have to make several small ones instead of bigger ones. The video got confusing since snow leopard was supposed to be on the 2nd partition.
