How to downgrade Windows 10 if Microsoft doesn't give you the option ( windows.old ) - Go back to windows 7 or windows 8 8.1 ! As long as you’ve upgraded within the last month, you can uninstall Windows 10 and downgrade your PC back to its original Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 operating system. You can always upgrade to Windows 10 again later. Even if it’s been more than a month, you should be able to reinstall the version of Windows that came with your PC using fresh installation media and its product key. Go back to windows 7 or 8.1 If you’ve upgraded a PC to Windows 10 — not performed a clean install, but an upgrade — you’ll have an easy option that lets you revert to the last version of Windows. To access this, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click the “Update & security” icon and select “Recovery.” You should see a “Go back to Windows 7” or “Go back to Windows 8.1” option. Click the Get started button to get rid of your Windows 10 install and restore your previous Windows install. Microsoft will ask you why you want to go back. If it’s been over a month — or if you’ve run the DIsk cleanup tool and removed the “Previous Windows installations” files or deleted the C:\Windows.old folder by hand — you’ll no longer see this option. Windows 10 appears to automatically remove the old Windows installation files after a month to free up space. 7. Thanks! I successfully downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 7, anyone else hate Windows 10? Missed Windows 7!
  8. Thank you my dude
  9. thank u for your explanation in how to reinstall a windows but for downgrading and installing without losing date or deleting system files it's better to use media creation tool software from Microsoft https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO/
  10. Umm, Can you tell me how to cancel this?, pls
  11. I've the windows.old file, but it didn't appear the option of going back to win 7, because I've installed win10 like one year ago... What should I do?
  12. It just keeps on going back to restart and it's making me reinstall everything over and over but it's not working 😭😭😭
  13. Mine says to restart
  14. I had to do a few restarts but it worked! Thank you so much
  15. i dont have old windows
  16. I did upgrade my acer laptop (aspire v3-471g) a year ago, from windows 7 to windows 10. Now I'm having a big problem with windows 10 because it's working too slow and i cannot use properly the applications and software I installed. Now my second problem is that I cannot find the "get back to windows 7" but I had the WINDOWS.OLD folder. How can I solve this problem? I really need an answer. I can't work properly with my homeworks and projects because of this bugs and errors plus "loading problems".
  17. most of the people who dislike are just hating because of the guy's accent.
  18. I don't get it?!
  19. Fuck window 10
  20. Hey!

After installing Windows 7, how to you enter to the "bios or uefi" if this option is not available from windows 7 and is not possible to do it from start?
Does it replace the new "bios" to the old one so we can access by pressing F2?, or how we do it?

    Why i'm asking?

I have a Toshiba and it came with a pre-installed Windows 10 and i will install my Windows 7 on it. Sometimes the drivers for these new computer are not compatible with Windows 7 so if i need to go back to the slowness of windows 7 how to i do it if i can't access to windows 7 since i will wipe the hard drive but not the UEFI/BIOS and UEFI will be there. I hope you understand my point and give the best answer.
