  15. nick do you know if the current online image contains current updates and service packs, or do we need to spend a significant amount of time updating after install?
  16. This doesn't work for OEM versions which is kinda ironic and annoying for me because Acer never shipped a disc with the laptop originally. Not buying Acer again. Such a headache they caused me just by them trying to save a few $ not including a physical Windows 7 disc with the laptop.

This is a free program that can pretty much be obtained anywhere which are ALL legal and free.This is a full version however if your key has been used before such as your desktop it will not work most of the time. You will need to restore from your original software included with desktop. If you have purchased a new key this is the software for you. If you do a clean install and you blow out your OEM key go ahead and get your wallet out to buy another license. Always better to reinstall or upgrade thru windows.
