My phone NO LONGER has ANY Samsung CRAP on it, and I get 2.66GB of available ram to use, WITHOUT Samsung's TouchWiz soaking up 1.9GB of the 2.38GB available! So yeah...   11. I left Verizon to att carrier. I want to use the same Samsung Galaxy notes 3. Put in new att sim on notes 3 and I can call but I can not message or internet at all. I add APN setting but still does not allow to go internet, message either. Any idea to fix this issue

  18. i am tempted to root but i have two gn3's and would have to root both, sPen features and hover display could get messed up, security holes, most of all, most sim card isp's don't allow us to port forward and i have paid for an app that wasn't cheap but requires root for some more advanced features like a mail server or dhcp server most of which run on ports below 1024 which android doesn't allow to non-administrative users, and my battery lasts 2 days on heavy use, so root maybe not for me, tasker still holds up to root..

    A couple of of months after I bought my SGN3 I accidentally tripped KNOX (it had worked rooted for a time then). I could have ignored that but apparently a smudge on the screen turned out to be a physical production fault. Samsung agreed to repair it, but only after "repairing" the system I had messed with (sigh) which had a repair bill the size of a phone.
    I dont dare rooting the phone just now. But I would love not to trip the KNOX. How exactly can this be avoided? I am not talking about the rooting itself, but the stuff that makes KNOX trip itself. Anyone knows?
