Thank you for the support! **AMAZON ASSOCIATES DISCLOSURE:http://bit.ly/29Z23OQ ▼Full Transcript▼ In this video we will see how to recover your data and fix your storage devices like SD card UBS drive internal external hard disk so stay tuned hi friends welcome to our YouTube channel howisolve.com howisolve.com a YouTube community helping people to solve everyday tech problems hi guys Neil here in today’s digital world where everyone keeps their treasured data like photos document music videos X extra on storage medium like SD card USB drives internal external hard disk losing your data can be very painful this can happen because of many reasons like someone or you accidentally deleting it your file system got corrupted your storage medium failed because of some physical damage because there are so many reasons for your files getting lost we cannot guarantee you that using this guide you would be able to recover 100% of your data but surely you would be able to recover some part of your data unless your storage medium has completely failed so with that disclaimer let’s start this tutorial this how-to guide is divided in two parts in the first part we will recover your data and in the second we will repair your storage medium but before we begin let’s look at its prerequisites number one you would require testdisk and photorec utility these two open source based software are excellent for data recovery purpose in fact it is used by forensic data retrieval experts the link for this tool is in the video description down secondly you would be requiring a Windows 7 8.1 or Windows 10 system third you should be having admin rights on the system fourth storage medium has to be connected to the system if it’s an SD card then you’d requiring a card reader if it’s an internal hard disk from an unbootable system you would require a SATA to USB adapter both the adapter doesn’t cost much around $ 5-$ 10 each can fetch you both of them and the most important ingredient for this tutorial to work is patience that’s right guys patience is a must this tutorial might take a bit of time but I will be there to help you step-by-step so be with me and everything will be right with that let’s start this tutorial the first step would be to connect the storage medium to your system if you have got a USB powered device then that’s quite simple just plug and play step two is to extract the package that you have downloaded from the link given in the video description for two tool utilities that is photorec and testdisk I have already extracted the testdisk and photorec utility you’ll get this folder on extraction that is testdisk.win let’s open this folder here you will find this EXE file qphotorec_win.exe open this EXE file a warning will pop up click yes so this is the utility that we would be first using to recover your data the first thing that this utility ask is your disk from which you have to recover your data on clicking on this drop-down menu it would list all the disk that it can detect in my system it is showing three disk the disk from which I will be recovering the data would be this disc that is physicaldisk2 its it 2 GB SD card you can also identify your drive using the capacity we will select this and under here it will mention the partitions that this particular

Sir i recently buy a samsung evo 32gb memory card on ebay ,first i inserted my memory card into my phone it shows me free space of 31.28 gb after that i formated my memory card in my phone after that my phone shows notification memory card is blank or system not supported when i checked it in my pc it shows an message FORMAT MEMORY CARD TO USE but cant format it ,In you tube i watched your video & i downloaded the software test disk in that software when is selected my sd card it shows default none partition,after continuing that it says cannot write as there is no partitions.so please help me to solve the problem.

  17. I'm using the photorec right now and I'm recovering my videos pictures etc. If I have no interest in recovering other files I don't need to use the testdisk app right?
