  4. Go and do the same thing with windows audio endpoint builder stop and start then restart. Then check the icon of your audio from the bottom right of your screen, then click it a window will pop out then its like a windows troubleshoot kinda thing then try to fix it wait a few sec then boom! the audio of your computer will come back. "Try playing a music or any audio from your pc while doing it so that youll know immediately if it works." I just did this stop start and restart then let the windows troubleshoot it, works for me, wish that it works on you guys as well. Windows 8.1

  5. ...All I had to do was was go to "Playback devices", select "Realtek High Defenition Audio" and then click on "set Default".
    It was previously set as default for "USB Audio device"
    Audio works now.
