How to fix OS X application can't be verified | OS X El Capitan | macOS Sierra | Yosemite Corrupted or Damaged during Downloading in Easy Steps. " This copy of the install OS X Yosemite (any OS X) application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading" (USE THE SAME DATE "below" FOR OLDER INSTALLER OS X) Try the same date for older version, as shown below and it will work. (once it's installed then changed to current date) For El Capitan and macOS Sierra change it to current date.     I need help in downloading OS Sierra from APP store, My OS is mountain lion and when I go to app store and try to upgrade to MAC OS Sierra, it shows me an error "The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed."

    Can you help me with this part?
