  1. the hell with Microsoft and MAC altogether
  2. Will this occur if you install 2011 Microsoft Office after already having Yosemite? Thinking of purchasing to utilize word but was concerned.Thank you!!!
  3. Try running Microsoft Database Utility and simply rebuild your databases/identity and boom. Worked for me at least.
  4. I upgraded my Mac to Mac OS X Lion. I find that when I opened a PPT file for the first time and it was ok. The next time, I opened the ppt file, it is opening the file that I opened before by default without opening a blank template for ppt. I have researched and tried everything from unchecking the "Restore windows..." in syspref>General etc and it does not work. Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
  5. 2011 Word keeps crashing, well it opens but as soon as you try to create a document you get the eternal spinning beach ball. Excel works but when exiting says the database is corrupt.
Rebuilding the identity didn't work, nor cleaning the cache with YCC, nor a full, comprehensive uninstall and reinstall. The 2016 demo has run out, but you can't buy 2016 unless you have a 365 subscription. This is rubbish Microsoft, Office 2011 is supported officially until 2017.
  6. I can't find "Yosemite Cache Cleaner" in the App Store.
