  2. Tampa my TV won't even turn on just gives me orange and green light blink. I reformatted the the USB plugged it in first but as soon as I turn on it immediatley starts blinking tv just doesn't fire up. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

  12. I did the same as (A Fields) but with the correct firmware for Samsung LED TV UA39EH5003, i got a blank screen with a standby red light, Keep in mind a installed older firmware the last 2 years but it worked correctly

  18. Thanks for this! My Sharp Aquos 55LE653U was stuck in an endless reboot cycle. It was not getting far enough into the boot cycle to recognize the set of button presses to bring up the factory service mode. After inserting the flash drive with the firmware file, the instructions from Sharp said just to restore power by plugging back in and wait for the white front power light to begin blinking, indicating a firmware update in-progress. There was nothing displayed on the TV during the update. The update took 3 minutes, after which the TV rebooted and came up in the initial setup menu. Fixed!

    Sharp requires one additional step with my model: With TV powered on, use remote to enter "MENU-2489". This brings up the service menu. Navigate to Setup/Clean Storage and select "YES". I believe this clears out the EEPROM settings. Power off and on to restore normal operation

  20. I know this is an old video but I hope I can still get an answer. I followed all of your instructions and when I was ready to do the update on the TV,  I got an error message saying that the file is not detected in the USB memory device. I tried formatting the USB several times and it still didn't fix it. My problem is that I get a black screen when trying to access Netflix by the way. Software I downloaded is the same one on the TV.
