  4. I looked in my regadmin which looks just like yours and the 'AllowOSUpgrade' file was already there, with value 1, so this didn't solve my problem. I am still getting the same error code.

  7. I get the same error code. not with a pc operating on the web, but when unsuccessfully attempting to USB reload win7 home CIF from a B/U HDD. windows stops the system image recovery giving this same error code as the reason for the failure: 0x80070002 ? anybody got any ideas, please?
