  14. im trying to instal debian from a usb flash drive, but i dont get any options to enter the bios on start up. ive tried a few different keys and i just end up back at the recovery screen, and cant go any further with it. its getting really frustrating now as there doesnt appear to be any way around it other than to take the hdd out and format it on another pc, which i really dont wanna do. theres nothing on the pc to keep, it was just a test machine for win 10 before it came out, and now i wanna put debian on it but have come across this problem. anyone know how to get it to boot from a usb drive?

I tried the trick to change year and it didnt work, neither safe mode and the error was 0xc0000225 so i decided to download the ISO file of Windows 10 Pro and burn it with ISO to USB with the bootable option and it worked!, unfortunatly i didnt get access to save my files but at least it's gonna delete all the viruses.
