In this video, I will demonstrate in a step by step fashion how to flash a custom Android ROM onto your Android Mini PC. I will be using an MK809II device to base this guide off of. However, the steps taken to install the Android SDK and other items should be similar for other devices, regardless of model/vendor. The guide is aimed at individuals who have very minimal knowledge about flashing and will go through the steps in detail. It covers how to install the Android SDK, how to install the drivers, and then how to flash the ROM onto your device! Please be warned that flashing could brick your device and that I take no responsibility for any damages that may result by following this guide. Follow the steps at your own risk!   1. good video, but my ug802 is not recognized by rk flash tool , it tell me "no rk andoid device found", i have tested many drivers for my win 8.1 pro.

  4. look! help! i was doing fine but you lost me! 19:47 you say to go to the setting of the device?where is that? my pc dont recognise the mk? that is why i was doing this,when i plug the mk into usb it does nothing? is a light meant to come on?or a window?i thought we downloaded the latest driver in the beginning of this video?.and you lost  me also at usb bugging? when you said plug device into usb port-then the other end into hdmi port,did you mean hdmi port on the pc or the tv? help me please cause i was keeping up with you till now.thanks.

  6. will a custom rom still get updates and have the google play store? the stick i am using has 4.1 on it  and will not support the play store....so i can't install anything or even update what it came with w/out getting the individual apk's

  9. I only need root access and I followed all your steps. When I get to sparky I uncheck/check connect to PC after every reboot. After a few restarts it says: remount sucess (or something similar). Then nothing happens... until I uncheck/check connect to PC then I proceeds to installing SU and nothing happens.. until uncheck/recheck and it says my device is rooted. But it's not. Any ideas?

  11. im not use wifi anymore to connect internet..i use lan cable but my new problem is when i open web streaming like youtube and play ,sometimes the grapic  is not running smooth,and sometime ok..i dont know why .all that i can say my mk809 running  not stable...can you give an advice? :-sorry my bad english
  12.  Hi Thanks for such tutorial. I have followed this to the point I connect the MK809II to my computer. I have enabled and disabled the usb debug but when I connect it on my compurer says HTC Sync Error=-1 (I dont know why? I have used the version pda net 3.50 and the latest 4.12) U did not explain that part in your tutorial... and now I'm stuck on that :((((

  19. Nice work. Very easy to understand. But u have two problems that i cant find solution.

    First, my wifi in the android tv doenst work (that's why i want to root to see if corrects the problema)
    Second, when i use PDAnet, it always gives me a HTC sync error 1. I read some solutions but i havent install anything from htc...
    Any ideas? thank you and congratulations once more!
