**PLEAE DO A NANDROID BACKUP IN RECOVERY BEFORE CLEARING ALL DATA** You will need the app called ( ROM Manager) once you have that, enter it and tap on flash clockwormod recovery. CyanogenMod Link: http://www.cyanogenmod.com/ Google Apps Link: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version/Google_Apps Then go into recovery and clear all data and cache. After that click install zip from sd/card and install the cm7 update.

  1. but i have struggled to get recovery mode. because  i am using htc hero gsm. so i couldn't get recovery mode as u said. so i have tried another method is hold home button and power button. finally it works ............:) :) :) :)

  8. Gracias por la info, estaba al tirar el htc porque se trabo al instalar el cyanogenmod 7.2 hice todo bien y no podia entrar al sistema.

  13. Hi, I followed your instructions & all worked well. My ? To you is once rooted & gingerbread installed, is it possible for the sprint hero to not activate on the sprint network and say welcome to Verizon on the setup screen ( that is after doing a factory reset to clear my info off)? I appreciate your input & look forward hearing back from you.
  14. Buddy der r few bugs in Android 2.3 frm Cyanogen,,,, Try upgrading it to Jelly Bean by Evervolv-Eligo.....
  15. I had to find an older version of the ROM manager I think I ended up with version 2.5 or something, but it worked. The other thing I found, if your using windows 7 on the computer you use for this you have to be sure the Android drivers are installed or it wont be able to talk to your phone..
  16. I watched this video several times, THOUGHT I was following all the instructions.. One little mistake LOL! Clockwork file (the one you said to get) I didnt get it and couldnt figure out why it wouldnt give me the screens you had. Once I got it right, and followed ALL of your instructions it worked first time. Thank you for this post.
