  3. Try This Method i just learned that is a lifesaver .....

    👉 Note: You have to have "Winrar" in order to do this.

    #1). Right click on the undeleted folder.

    #2). Archive the undeleted folder "as if you're going to zip/rar the undeleted folder as a rar file.

    #3). In Archiving Options > Check the box for "Delete files after Archiving" Winrar will delete this folder itself from Archiving.

    This will delete the undelete folder for good. You're going to thank ne for this!

  5. This is all well and good, but what do you do when the folder is corrupt and DOES NOT have a short name you can see in a DOS prompt? (scrolled down) Another comment mentioned adding to a Winrar and then setting it to delete after adding. Will try.

  8. Beyond the largely-incorrect captions, it didn't work past about the 5-&-a-half-minute mark; C&Ped what I wanted to rid of, & was told it wasn't recognized as int or ext command, operable prog, or batch file.

    However, I followed your instructions to the letter. Yet when I dir /x on my desktop folder (I'm looking for a folder called "gone".)

    The "gone" folder, does not have an entry in the column where yours says EVEONL~1.

    It simply things the folder isn't there.

    Any ideas how to help?
