  10. Hi Shaan! I have a 640xl unlocked, if I hard reset it, will it mess it up? or take it back to the lock version? I bought it though amazon, apparently it comes from Vietnam.

  13. somebody just sold me a microsoft windows lumia 8.1 640 phone and now it's asking for a reset recovery protection key is there a way to bypass that the previous owner did not disable the recovery protection please help if u can I really don't want to just throw it in the trash

  17. Hello shaan haider, brother for some reason my 640xl 3G dual sim is randomly rebooting i noticed it rebooting during google maps, texting and using msn health and fitness app. i have decided to move my softwares to memrory card and then factory reset my phone.
    i have some quaetions to ask.
    1. My phone came with denim update which was later updated by me to the 2nd denim update will my update will also be lost during that factory reset ? and will i have to update the phone again?
    2. Many of the lumia apps like lumia selfie and "extras and info" setting update etc were also updated by me when i recieved the notifications from store. will these updates will also be lost ? and i have to reupdate them all ?
    3. If i backup my data by using my microsoft account and then reset my phone, will i be able to retrieve my data after reseting the phone.
    4. how can i stop my phone from rebooting. it was working fine for past 2-3 months. i notice rebooting first time when i was sending a text message. a day before this incidence i installed an update of subway surfer (kenya)
