This looks very cool and I have been trying for the last week to have a go.  But I can't even get to first base; when I get the tricolor screen and hook up my phone via USB, the word 'serial' disappears but is not replaced by 'USB'.  I've tried this on a machine with Activesync (Win XP) and a Windows 7 machine with Windows Mobile Device Centre (both of which work fine when the phone is booted into WM6.5).  But when I hook up in the bootoader mode, I initially got a message saying installing hardware, but then 'installation failed'.  In device manager it appears under other devices as 'Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM' and 'Driver not installed'.  I assume this is the problem and I've scoured the internet for the right driver but all I can find is lies and drivers that don't work.  Where the #@%& can I find the right driver?  It's only 4 year old technology for $#@% sake!
