I realized Canon doesn't include an online installer for the EOS software. Luckily, there is an easy way to install it using the online updater.

Mine no luck.
I“eum2.14.20a-updater” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Followed all the instructions, I deleted the text within Sublime Text and saved. When I relaunched - the files extracted, but then the app shut down and disappeared. Can anybody help me solve this?

Thank you! The trick is the Sublime Text you used. My other text editor did not work.
