    I need Help!!!!!!! I have downloaded the Cloudera 5.5 VM on VMware but my laptop is keep freezing. After some research, i found that i need lower version of Cloudera VM, Can someone help me with that? I have windows 7 , 8 gb ram and Vmware and i need an image for 4 version of VM... I would so greatful to you :)

  8. Hello, i have downloaded VM player version 7.1.3 and cloudera-quickstart-vm-5.5.0-0-vmware. When i am trying to play quickstart-VM using vm player , a new window is popping and closing automatically without any message in 5 secs, my ram size is 4GB, enabled virtualization in BIOS and using windows 10 home 64 bit OS .Can you suggest me a idea to over come this issue?   9. Hello Sir, I followed exactly as u said in the video. But at the final step when i tried to connect to cloudera manager it keeps loading for very long time sir. like 3 hours. plz can u help me sir. and I had 8 GB of RAM earlier. But then again today i have added another 8 GB RAM. So Now I have 16 GB RAM now. But i dont know why its taking such a long time. Please help me.
  10. Hello,I have downloaded and installed VMware workstation, and I have also downloaded the "cloudera-quickstart-vm-5.5.0-0-vmware"and extracted the files from the zip file.I followed your steps, when I click the "power on" nothing is happening.  What could be the issue from your experience?

  14. Like it. But can anyone tell me about an error I am getting. I am trying to open up the VM but only blank screen loads for sometime and then the player quit. I have a 4GB ram on my machine. What could be the reason ?

  18. Thanks for the video.  I followed the same steps and installed Cloudera quickstart-5.4.2 on VMware. The installation went fine. I could access Hue but when I click on the Cloudera Manager it cannot connect.  It kept displaying "Attempting to connect to cloudera manager ...." forever.  I was able to browse the Internet using the firefox browser but could not update it.  It kept saying "Could not connect to update server...."  Any idea what is the problem?  I even increased the resources to 8MG and 2 virtual CPUs, but it did not help.
