Google recently changed it’s “Android ADT Bundle” or “Android SDK Tools” to “Android Studio“. In this video, I’ll show you how to install fastboot and adb using the new “Android Studio” without actually having to download the large 828 MB studio package, which you don’t need.   5. dude thanjs for the info but doesnt android studio have a built in way to use adb commands and seyup easier? or do we have to do this even if we dont use eclipse. the new as 2.2 doesnt have a better option?

While i'm trying to do exactly as per your instructions i.m either missing a step or something, I'm running windows 10 and it doesn't give me the option of downloading anything other than the whole studio package when a window pops up eventually it tells me the sdk file is nearly 4 gb in size. What am I missing ?
  7. Looks like it changed again, because there is no "other option", but you can scroll down the bottom of page and there at files called, tools_r25.2.3-windows.zip Is this File I need for Fastboot ADB ? I am on a windows computer.

  10. on windows xp pro, ive down loaded all the applications for this.. the 811MB one, the sdk only tool & the comand line only one. where in the blue fuck do i open an sdk manager that has platform tools! its literally no where. & im just going to set this computer & phone on fucking fire. some one seriously please help me. seriously guys.. please.
