How To Install/Flash Android Lollipop Nexus Factory Image

Get/download official software android 5.0/5.1.1 lollipop system stock images Nexus 4,5,6,7,9,10 unlock bootloader in fastboot mode & use adb.exe tool to flash the system image to your android nexus 5 phone or nexus 7 tablet. BACK UP ALL YOUR DATA FIRST this will erase root if you are rooted. Make sure to download the correct image file for your device. This process will destroy all user created data. When you are all done you can then oem re-lock the bootloader. Everytime you oem unlock the bootloader it will erase all data on your device and possibly void your device warranty. The Nexus 5 has a tamper flag that shows true or false and if you oem unlock the bootloader it will show as true for being unlocked, but you can change it back. You will also have to accept an RSA key that allows debugging through this computer. You will probably get a pop up dialog on your device to allow connection. This is a security feature to protect users devices it makes sure that USB debugging and other adb commands cannot be executed unless you're able to unlock the device and tic the dialog.   3. Just wanted to let you know that i was finally able to successfully flash the mobile, I had initially encountered an error , then changed the usb port and it worked perfectly fine . Thanks a lot for you video!

  8. How bout stuck in software update /checking update after factory reset my phone.. After choosing languages and then the sim and Wi-Fi after checking connection... And checking updates appear and got stuck.. I mean checking updates to long..... I can't skip anyway if I skip it lots of problems occured like sync errors and my play store gone... Some guys could answer this?

  16. I am using a different android device but it is overall the same idea. I am stuck with Droid laying down while a red triangle is popping up with an exclamation mark after an attempt with the command thing. I tried what you did in this video but now it keeps saying

    Failed (command write failed (Unknown error))"
    My device is a Shield Portable and I got my stock image from the Nvidia website and did overall the same thing you did. Do you have a solution?
  17. My nexus 4 stuck on the ( Install system update ) and won't turn on . I did exactly what you did but the problem i got when i reach this msg . ( archive does not contain , boot sig) and archive does not contain , recovery.sig) after that i got this msg ( checking versoin - baseband . FAILED ) and then press any key to exit . what Can I do ?
  18. Thank you, couldn't get command line to recognize phone as it was in endless boot mode (and factory reset didn't work cause I was playing with things), but when I started recovery mode it finally recognized it. Thanks :)
