hey mate, trying to do this on an old school powermac g4, the app "leopard assist" seems to be different then the one you are showing, the one i have basically just tries to overclock the system to a high enough point that mac thinks its compatible...which is dangerous on such an old machine, it reboots the system then will not load anything and stays at black screen after chime

the only way i can fix it is by doing the command,option p+r trick which gets it all up and running again but i cant get this to install... i am trying to boot from a usb but that wouldnt cause this issue, if anything it would just not work and go back to mac, any help here?

please assist with this query-- i do not see any one else in comment page with this problem---ok i downloaded from softonics the copy of 10.4 copied it dvd then put it into mac mini-- so far so good the icon looks like a normal box package and says -- MacOSXUpdCombo10.5.6.pkg i click on it and this appears--- ( the installer package mac etc.etc. cannot be opened -the bill of materials for this package was not found ) so please explain what this means and can i get what it wants ? or is this pkg never going to install ? it was free by the way
