  2. "You need to insert USB AND Windows installation disk" There is NO CD drive w/t Asus Eee Netbook. Come on dude...you said this should work on most Eee netbooks. Link doesn't work as well...old video, but...for those who bought a used Asus Eee this doesn't work.

  10. good video. i got past my previous "EULA NOT FOUND" errors.

    I think your usb is USB 1 which is (a lot) slower than USB 2 thats why it takes 30 MIN to copy and write files.

  19. Thanks a bunch, Robert. I managed to install XP on my eePC 1001XPD strictly following instructions (for ex. using not the latest version of WinsetupUSB, but the one you suggest). Also, at first I tried to use an external 2.5 IDE hard drive, but it failed in the middle of the process. This experiment was a waste of time. With a 2Go USB key, it worked. I am happy, cos' Windows 7 is really a pile of s***, and my EeePC was so slow I wanted to dump it!
