  1. ok now you are saying have to download something else to -to repair windows vista -recovery -this is taking too long
  2. what is the windows vista recovery disc -need it as lost orignal and getting msg need to insert original disc that came with pc -not helping as i cannot insert any disc divd/rom not working either -error i/o error -help

I have windows vista home premium and accidently deleted ntoskrnl.exe because it kept crashing my computer but now when i try to start my computer it goes to a black screen (The one before the windows logo and passwords comes out) and then stays like that for a few seconds before crashing so would getting this repair disk for windows vista home premium fix it and bring back ntoskrnl.exe so i can use my computer again or will i need to get a new computer or like do system restore?

  6. Actually .... the original Vista install had no such file but the working version was included on the SP1 Bata install. If you have SP1 Bata on an install disk (rather than from download) then you can extract it; otherwise use the above link to the Vista forums to download the replacement file. Remember, this burns the repair disk and MUST be rum from a working install of Vista. If your system is already crashed you can not create a repair disk with this file.
  7. Vista Repair disc: the program "recdisc.exe" in System32 folder is what burns the repair disk. The original installed program, dated 2007 worked but SP1 replaced it with a non functioning version dated 2008 and SP2 did not correct it. You may be able to extract recdisc.exe from the Vista install disk. If not, download either 32 bit or 64 bit from: vistax64.com/tutorials/141820-create-recovery-disc.html

  14. no its for if your pc won' t boot into windows this will set it back to a earlier time i also has a few more options too. or if you want to reinstall wndows but you will need the ur key code...

  17. it should work...??... well you can try IMG Burn its free and a good program...just search on youtube on howto burn iso on dvd using IMG Burn. or something like that...
