  2. Hi,
Can you tell me which adapter I need for an iMac from 2008 or 2009? I live in the UK but hopefully the same products are available here.
  3. Hi ! I think you have given me hope, I have the very same macbook pro 15. 2010 model. My laptop was stolen from me by a landlord given back completely wiped out! Now it is running on El Capitan but before I can't even remember, but it was running on an old drive. I called Apple but they said I would need to take it to a specialist of some sort to see if recovery is possible. Do you think this will work for me ? Also where can I buy the adapter from?
    Thank you so much !
  4. PLEASE HELP!! I just got a new 2015 macbook pro 15" (cuz my old one broke) that looks a lot similar to the newer macbook pro you showed in your video. 6. Wondershare Data Recovery for MAC also support to recover data from Mac hard drive and other storage device.
  7. I ordered the adapter based on the recovery model adapter information provided on your site. UPC: 701017251842.
I actually found this item on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Sintech-28pin-adapter-2013-2014-2015-Macbook/dp/B0173ODBCE/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t
The adapter took a while to arrive, I received it today. The adapter does not come with the m2SATA to USB cable.
How do I find this cable? I can't seem to find anything. I assume I am not searching for the right thing.
    Any advise would be appreciated!
    Thanks

  10. Great video and website!
  11. I just upgraded my iMac yesterday with a SSD. Why? Because I couldn't get into my desktop anymore. I had the loading screen with the Apple logo and the progress bar, when it was around 75% it shut off my iMac. To reach that 75% it took 5 minutes! I knew the hard drive couldn't handle it anymore, however after I upgraded the iMac with a SSD it took 7 seconds to boot. But after I attached my old 1T harddrive to my iMac through usb and a similar sata and power connector it recognized it but it shutt itself down when I wanted to search for files in the drive. @Save Apple Dollars, do you know what I could do to still same my files from my old HDD? Because I haven't had made a backup for 3 weeks in those 3 weeks I made ton of important documents. If you know an answer I would be really grateful!
  12. Thanks for the informative video! My late 2013 13" Macbook Pro Retina Display died last week, however I have to recover the data before selling for spare parts. I'm a real novice at this but your video helped me. Would this be the adapter needed for this macbook model?
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B018KHJHRG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AT0LZKUUT30A0

I'm clueless with what SATA usb adapter I need though, I can't seem to find anything online. That's probably because I'm a novice!

    Any help would be great!

    Many thanks
    Katie
