You can download AirDroid from Google Play and set it up very easily. On the Computer you might need to download a small Chrome App IF you intend to use Mirroring. If not then you don't need it. 1) Remember this is only if your Phone normally powers on and has a data/WiFi connection. So it is for CRACKED SCREENS only (in which case you won't be able to maneuver the Phone manually and all data will be stuck in the Internal Storage) not for Bricked Phones! 2) You may ask then why not just use your USB cable instead of this? Well the answer is because of 2 reasons: USB cable is only if you just want to get *some* files from the SD Card, not if you want access to actual Apps etc for which you need to Mirror the device. 2nd, in order for USB access to work when the Screen is cracked/black, the phone should be in Media Mode (not PTP) and if you can't maneuver the screen, you can't do that. 3) Those other methods are way more complicated for normal people, you could mess it up and for those methods you'll need a Rooted Phone etc which you don't need here. 4) So yes, this will only help if you downloaded this App to your Phone in advance. 5) This method also has other advantages like being able to LOCATE a lost phone and send Texts and receive Notifs. I used this method to even Factory Reset my Phone!
