  1. Thanks so much for this, photorec worked magic for me! I was transferring files from my SD card to computer and suddenly my computer said that it lost connection to the SD card. When I tried to reconnect my SD card both my computer said that the filesystem was unrecognized and needed to be formated. I think the junk card reader I was using was at fault for this. I used a different card reader and photorec to recover every photo and video on the SD card.
  2. I have jpeg files that I want to be able to see because I accidentally lost them. the issue is the files for the jpeg are corrupt. How do I recover it
  3. I was able to recover the files with the extraxt plugin but they are very tiny in size. Please what do I do to get the original file size/quality. it is a damaged file I am dealing with. thanks

  6. I had done a wedding shoot . I clicked around 400 photos (all shot in RAW with CF card)
    I then cut and pasted to computer using a card reader. and also formatted the CF card.
    now when I open the images in LR or DPP , after few seconds the images get corrupted with bandings.
    how can I Fix it ??
    at least I want them in jpg.

  8. Hi Tony, I took a bunch of RAW file pictures with Sony A7 and I'm not able to view them either with my camera (I got the message "unable to display") or PC. I think they are corrupted and not able to recover them with PhotoRec or Wondershare. Any recommendation?
  9. Thanks Tony! Just formatted my card and almost lost a bunch of photos from this week's trip as they haven't copied onto my HD for some reason. I'm currently recovering all of them and it works perfectly fine!! Thank you so much for your help here! This video helped sooo much!!!!!

  10. Does anyone know if this solution would work for iPhoto? My WD drive got wiped during the Mac OS Mavericks update. I was able to recover my photos, but they are unlinked from my iPhoto preview.

  13. Hi Tony, on a recent digital photo shoot, some shots registered in Windows as 0mb, please advise if PhotoRec can recover files that show as being empty. I look forward to hearing from you. And also thank you for sharing this great software. My wife is buying me the latest version of Lightroom for Christmas, so I will buy your book then.   14. OMG, I accidentally deleted a photo shoot of a set of twins first birthday. This help recover all of my photos. I thought I had backed them up an an external hard drive but had two files with the same name. What a life saver!!!!

  19. I've shot a couple of cat shots with my 70D, played them back and it read "? cannot display image''. I then stupidly formatted the card, is there a way to recover those lost images?
