To recover deleted files, launch the software and select 'Deleted File Recovery'. From the list of volumes found on your Mac, select the volume from which you'd like to recover the deleted files. Then click on 'Next'. The software now begins to retrieve the deleted files from the selected volume. After the recovery is completed, the software gives a list of folders found on the selected volume. I'll click on 'Show Deleted' and select the entire list of deleted folders recovered from the volume, after which I'll click on 'Save'. Here I'll select a folder to which I'll save all the recovered files. The software now begins to save all the recovered data to the selected folder. I downloaded this software and in order to download the recovered data, I paid ~£40 and downloaded them in a folder.
I did this because I really need a folder of pictures that I deleted from my desktop containing important pictures that I need for my coursework but all the downloaded recovered data is coded? How do I get the pictures back? Do I have to encrypt them somehow?
