  1. Waste of time to see that Video...........
  2. this is a famous youtube vid just to promote the software. to recover files use any of these programs.

tuneup utilities, easeus data recovery. or recovery my files. when you delete items from the recycle bin they dont automatically delete from your system. there placed in a hidden folder on your hard drive where they are deleted in fragments at a time over the course of 24 hours to 7 days, depending on the amount of data. i know this because i do data recovery.

when you use ANY recovery program you will not get all the data back you deleted. for example pictures recovered will have segments of data missing, meaning you will get half of an image back or it will appear with blocks missing, as will videos, audio etc. this is because windows deletes the data bits at a time not all in one go. this is why you are always urged to make backups.
the programs mentioned above i use myself, they are paid software but you can get "working" copies elsewhere. dont trust any software offering a free trial, free trial software actually writes data to the same file stack (basically a temp folder) that your deleted data gets stored and in most cases will write over your data making recovering them impossible. free trails are only meant to be used for a 30 day period or less, this is why the data for them is installed in the same stack, because deleted and trails are classed as "temp" data in windows. my personal advice is everyone should always keep an external hard drive. once a week at the very least always back your data upto it. you take the time to look after your home, your kids, and your car. all of which you have to put work into doing. backing up your data is a few clicks of a mouse and the computer does the rest for you. its not hard. warnings have been going out for years for users to always back up your data, if you install a program your asked to do a back up. or create a restore point. doing reg tweaks your asked to do a back up. editing photos - back up. yet everyone still gets themselves in these situations. and its people like me who have to sort it. backing up your data is the very basic of basic when it comes to pc maintenance. its childs play. if you choose to ignore the warnings or offers to back your data up you cant get pissed at someone else for your own mistake. no one told you to ignore the warnings. you ignored them on your own.
truth of the matter is most people today think there xbox or there phone is more important, and if problems like this come up then you all think its someone elses job to fix. when you have every opportunity to do it yourself.
how do you get paid from your job? you go out and work. how to you eat? you go out and buy shopping. how do you back up your pc?.......easy answer. D.I.Y.......
this isnt me getting up in your faces its simple facts. its your computer and your data so its your job to keep it safe.
