How to recover deleted photos from Android using TEC files ? I found a way. Not just any way. The free way. Do it yourself, not using any recover software that cost you $$$. As long as you have TEC files in your DCIM/Camera/cache folder, it will work. Tested with Samsung Galaxy S II deleted files. Worked like a charm. Don't forget to """thumbs up"""" if it helped you. Good luck Note: The photos quality is not the same as the original files, but they are good enough to be viewed. And for someone which almost lost them, they are "gold" !

  19. I was able to put the pointer to the left of the top line and delete 6 times.  I have VISTA PC.  Also my files were immediately viewable when I changed to *.jpg after saving the HexDex modifications.  You will probably have trouble if you don't copy the files from Android to your PC before doing this and then work from the PC folder.  Seems Android won't let you save back to Android.  I could not find a Cache on my SD card but most of what I was looking for was in the device Cache of DCIM/Camera.  Definitely need to do this as soon as possible after deleting because with smaller memories they will start getting written over quickly.  THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE VID!!
