How to recover email after deleted Windows Live Mail account I use Windows Live Email sometimes for special purposes, and when I deleted an email account, it inadvertently deleted all my email associated with that account! Somehow I must have glossed over any warning message. The procedure I used to retrieved my email successfully is below, but first, here is an easier procedure for Windows 7 users, Close Windows Live Mail. Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft and then right click on the Windows Live Mail folder and choose 'restore previous versions'. Then choose the most recent date to restore to and click restore. After restoring to a previous date, you can always restore back to a future date. Then open Windows Live Mail. All your e-mails should be in place.   6. I know this video was published a long time ago but I need help! I accidentally deleted my email account a few months ago and didn't think much about it until now. I am 100% positive that the account I deleted was the one I put on my PSAT testing. (I have a personal and "business" email) So one of my friends started getting emails from all of these colleges congratulating her on how well she did on her PSAT. And i haven't gotten any of those emails. That's when I realized that I deleted that account. Now i want the account back, but i can't get it. This video is kind of confusing to me, and I am not positive which windows i am currently using, which doesn't help me one bit. SO i copied and pasted the URL you put in the description, but my folders did not recognize that. What am i doing wrong and is there any hope for me getting my email account back? I would love to get some answers not only from the YouTuber that created this video, but from anyone else that can help me. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

  7. I did this process and it put back all of my folders but for some reason it only restored half of the emails  the other  half of the folders only had one email.  What would cause this?
  8. Hi. My PC suddenly upgrade to Windows 10 trial. Then i change back to my previous version. But all my mails lost in Windows Live Mail. I tried to restore previous version as what you showed above, but my previous version is empty. Please advice me the next step.
  9. Only works if you use system restore in Windows.....so, this isn't really a solution for anything :P

  15. Looks like a network backup that you are doing, which works for all files, not only on emails in particular. BUT! It's not a function available for all windows users up front! This has to be configured with a network on beforehand.

  17. Is it the same as remove account? since i thought that my old account can't be used. so I deleted it. But then, I found out that people still sending the email to my old account. can it be retireved?
  18. This didn't work for me, unless I did something wrong or I'm not seeing them, or I'm not understanding what I wanted to do??!!!! I use gmail, but thru Windows Live. I deleted emails from my phone, not realizing that would delete them off everything!! GRRRRR!!!!, even WLM. When I tried the recover what you suggested, I dont' see anything different than before I recovered. Am I asking too much to have my inbox and trash emails put back?? Thanks Debbie
