However, your HD can still turn into RAW if you encounter virus attack, improper ejecting or removal of your Hard Disk from the drive. In this video, I'm going to show you how I was able to recover a Raw partition on one of my Seagate external hard disk using Recuva. 2. does this work if the files on my external hdd were not deleted? I coulnt open the hdd it shows on disk management that it is RAW intead of ntfs file
