How to recover files hidden by shortcut virus from pendrive using cmd commands: How to recover or restore your missing files after deleted or hidden by shortcut virus: I went to browsing center to download files and copy to usb pendrive. I did all those things and return to home. When i plugged in to my computer, i am seeing only shortcut target to rundll32.exe windows host process. Then i try to open the shortcut but failed to do and return error as rundll 'There was a problem starting 4#RSCUIZAXPMZXDFGG.ini. Access is Denied. Recovery steps: Open command prompt with or without administrator. Type the command attrib drive_letter:*.* /d /s -h -r -s That's done. Now you can see all your hidden files including the virus. So take your files and move to other safe location and format the pendrive. Virus will be removed and your files are safe. Here, i don't used any recovery software. All are manual and free of cost. Virus identified: Worm Generic3.HNW and Generic.BBBF

  3. All my files are gone while i was copying from usb, when I went back to copy them again they were gone, but there were two files(I think virus files) and my files were gone. When I copy the command and enters it says "The target of the symbolic link I:\(File directory) Doesn't Exist. Please help me out!
