Hi There Folks! Please do LIKE and SUBSCRIBE as it helps me a lot Questions or suggestions? Follow me and ask! Twitter - http://www.twitter.com/aftabhusain15 Googe Plus - http://goo.gl/SAH4k Instagram - http://www.instagram.com/aftabhusain I made this video to show you guys how to revive your dead blackberry! You can do this if your blackberry has the following problems: 1.Is not turning ON 2.Is just blinking the red light but is not turning on no matter what you do! 3.Is showing a battery with an X sign or whatsoever but mainly is not turning ON. Step 1) Make sure you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed. http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/ Step 2) On your PC, go to Start - Run and copy and paste the following line exactly (meaning with the quotation marks): -c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader\loader.exe- -nojvm Step 3) The Application Loader Wizard will appear -- click -Next.- Step 4) In the -Connection:- drop-down menu, you should see -USB-PIN: UNKNOWN-. Click the -Next- button. Step 5) You should then see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Hit Next and Finish and you are well on your way to getting your Blackberry back to life. Just don't disconnect anything and let the lengthy process finish completely. NOTE: If you do not see a list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead see the message -The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer.,- then you must download Blackberry's Operating System for your carrier and device. http://us.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html Just select the appropriate carrier and network type, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the above steps again and you should be on the right path. Possible solutions if this does not work ; Issues: 1-BB9900 OS wiped up and now the BB logo screen comes up with an error 507 (Reload Software). 2- BB9900 is officially dead and continuously reboots, black screen with red light. Solution: 1-Connect BB9900 via USB to PC, Desktop Software pops up but doesn't connect to the device, An other window pops up with option "Repair". Click "Repair" it tries to search & connect to device. Onward 2nd window pops up with "Get updates" and with an option on left corner "Other Versions", click other versions & select "Downgrade" tick to install. During process to connect device it rejects device connection, unplug USB for a while than plugin and "Retry", repeat the method if faced by same problem again so "click ignore" which leads device to install software. 2-Officially dead BB9900 black screen+red light can be relived only through "Downgrading". Follow the same process mentioned above but when the stage of "JVM" comes unplug & plug the USB and "Try Again" If the window pops up for "Reconnection JVM" don't cancel but unplug & plug "Try Again" if necessary remove the battery for while and install it back to device and "Try Again". It will compel the OS to cross the stage of JVM. Hope you get your Blackberry back to life! Leave a comment if you have any questions and Good Luck!

  12. Hey, I did exactly that and i followed the process till the end, problem persist (loading 75%). Help!
  13. Where your screen shows "USB PIN: UNKNOWN", mine keeps showing the actual PIN. It doesn't give me a second to click next, it immediately knowns my phone PIN hence it keeps trying to restore that existing corrupt OS.
I've installed and reinstalled the BDM and specific OS for my Torch 9800 over and over again, tried the Command Prompt to run the AppLoader, i've manually run the Loader, and every single time - I get stuck at the Communication Port Selection phase. At one point after uninstalling and reinstalling everything (and wiping out every trace of RIM out of my Common Files or Roaming folder) it showed USB PIN: UNKNOWN and I caught the next button, hopeful, it reinstalled the OS, but another popup appeared asking for my device PIN attempt 1 out of 10. I ignored it until the Application Loader Wizard was done, but after my phone rebooted... I still had my JVM error. I'm quite tech savvy and very patient, but i'm about to lose it.

    SOMEONE HELP PLEASE.
