In this video I demonstrate how to reformat an external hard drive in Windows 8/8.1. This this tutorial should work just the same on Windows 7 and Windows 10.   15. Ive done all you said in the vid .managed to format the drive .. work well thank you but then i got a message ..access denied and device not migrated ..what do i do next
  16. In the final step when i click on the disk managment,My hard drive does,nt appear on the screen just says connecting to virtual disk service even the hard drive is connected.Does it has some thing to do with my external drive health?cz that is 4% .
  17. I'm not going to lie your video didn't help me with my issue but it got me where I needed to go so thanks for the video. I was trying to format a OSX Apple formatted 1tb external to my new Windows 10 so that right there wasn't fun.

  19. @ TheTechGuy600, Been at my wits end to figuar out something.I research get this that contradicting stuff etc.Got a HP Windows 10 laptop.Nothing hooked to it so far as external hard drive.I got a external 500gb hard drive still in box new never used.Says for Mac on it.I want to use this Mac hard drive external box on Windows just like my computer drive to write files save files view etc.I read about has to be certain file format something about can't write another saying can write up to only 4gb file size on and on.Can I just reformat the darn thing on Windows all is done or is this going to be more a pain?Again it is new is a Mac external hard drive.Want it on my Windows 10 computer to use?
