  8. Windows have what called "environment variables" you can modify them.
    One of the environment variables are "TEMP" and "TMP". These variables store the value that is the location of the windows temp folder. the temp folder intended to store files that become garbage after you close some program that used them or rebot the computer. Usually, these file are still remain on the hardisk and take space for nothing.

    Program such as CCleaner may be a solution to clean up the these garbage files. but this is come with a cost:
    And the cost is the processing time and effort that it takes to delete them. it is not much and critical but still.. you paying with processing time to preform what I call "Clean up optimization". What if I tell you that there is a better way? a way that you don't need to pay with "processing time" for making this optimization? well, there is actually a way to make it work this way.. so it is more efficient In this sense.

    So how you can clean data without paying processing time? it sound like try to make calculations on the PC without using the CPU / GPU. sound impossible right? well, I have a way to do something just like that. the magic is to use some advantage of some chip in your hardware. that chip is the RAM. the RAM chip will clean itself by the the laws of physics. laws of physics and not the CPU will make the "Clean up optimization" :) and it will heppen when you reboot the computer. So how you can do this?

    You can create partition that is sitting/stored in your RAM and then modifiy the "TEMP" and "TMP" variables (in "environment variables" settings) and change them to point to that partition. this way, when program want to write some temp file, it will wirte it in the RAM.
    then after you close the program, and the file still there, you don't need program like CCleaner to delete it.. just rebot the computer.. you doing it anyway right? perfect.

    I am using "softperfect ram disk 3.4.8" to create the temp partition on the. you need to set it so the partition will be always when you start windows. Later versions of "softperfect ram disk" are cost money so use 3.4.8.
