yosemite osx 10.10.3. Macbook pro, iMac, macbook air, macbook, macbook retina display, macbook retina display 2, mac pro, iMac retina 5k display , mac mini,apple laptop. How to reinstall yosemite OS X and you dont erase any files, programs, apps. just install OS X , to fix problems.

  2. will this method work with mavericks?, the problem is that i turn on the imac and then a grey bar loads and after it loads it turn off, i use command+r to enter the window with the recovery functionality and when i analiza the hdd it says it cant recover it, so i need to know if i use the mavericks cd i would be able to restore the system without loosing my information .. thanks in advance for your help
  3. I have a 2010 macbook pro now.. its currently running el capitan. if i do this, will it get rid of el capitan? will it go back to the operating system that it originally came with?

  9. Hi, I'm needing to do this to reinstall one application that I accidentally deleted which is photos. I have a bootable copy of my OS on a USB, can I just do it that way to reinstall that one app? Will it affect the way I had things on my Mac like the programs I have on my dock or?

But..I just have one disc, without partion, and my mac, when I turned on, ask me to use one of the 4 options, but all my files are in the same disc as system as I told you, If I reinstall de OS X, my files will gonna be erased? Or just gonna reinstall de software? Please Help Me. Thanks :)
