Hi there! i hope you are doing great! New Video after long time :D . share it with your near and dear! here are other useful videos : www.tinyurl.com/howtoplaylist Step by step instructions for microsd card write protection removal. 1.Insert memory card to a computer using card reader or your phone. 2. Click “Start” on the taskbar to open “Run” and type in “regedit”. 3. Hit “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE” to expand “System”. 4. Find “Current Control Set” in “System” list to click “Control”. 5. Check whether there is a key named “Storage Device Policies” to change the digit in the “DWORD value” box into "0" and press “OK”. But, if you cannot find the key named “Storage Device Policies”, you are supposed to create a one: right click “Control” to create a new key and name it as “Storage Device Policies” right click this new key to open “DWORD Value” and name it as “write protect” Double click it to change number to "0" . you will be all set!! This procedure works for even Windows 10.

  11. I want to write protect my Sandisk 16 GB memory card by moving the lock switch to the locked position but even after keeping the lock switch in locked position in locked position it's not write protected. I am using USB all-in-one card reader to access the card and I have tried with different card readers on different PCs but I get the same problem. I even tried the memory cards of various brands but I am not able to write protect. Why? Are the SD cards not meant to work with card readers properly?
