The first in a series of videos I'm making for future student workers here in the CCCB I.T. department. Subscribe for more! Note: You can do this much faster by simply plugging the drive into an external adapter and running chkdsk /F; you can also run it from the computer the drive is already in, but that may not yield as successful of results.

  1. So i had 544 bad sectors on my laptop (only pc i got) i removed windows from it trying to reinstall it so 544 no OS (exept tails os on a cd) and i cant download windows on it help me.
  2. There is a command prompt you can use right on the laptop... no need to pull out the hard drive.

    Just press Windows key+R then type: cmd
