THANK YOU VERY MUCH.IT IS VERY USEFULL.I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY NOKIA 5230 SMART PHONE.I WAS SET A PASSWORD TO MY PHONE.BUT I FORGOT IT.WHEN I WAS WANT TO RESTORE MY PHONE ,IT ASKS FOR LOCK CODE.I COULDN'T FIND IT.I WAS RESET MY PHONE BY THE PROCESS OF WHAT YOU WERE SAID.IT WAS RESTORED BUT HOW CAN I PUT A NEW LOCK CODE TO MY PHONE.PLEASE TELL ME

There is a much more consistent way to do this: Turn the phone OFF and place on a flat surface; Press and hold the Send (green), End (red), and Camera (... camera) buttons; While holding (until otherwise stated), power the phone ON; Once the Nokia logo goes away, release the Send, End, and Camera buttons. No Codes, No Settings, No Hassle.
