  1. i wanted to restore my asus to factory settings so i followed the instructions as above. It now shows 'boot mgr missing - ctl+alt+del to restart - this doesn't work. I have looked on internet how to cure but you need the system DVD. The laptop came pre-loaded but in any case there is no DVD drive. Can anyone suggest how I can undo the change made to the laptop.

  8. It worked for me. Those of you that are having issues with F9 not work, turn your computer off again & start over.  I  had to try it 3 times before it worked for me.
  9. got a asus Eee pc damage screen use hdmi work on tv.but cannot get password. so try f2 wont let it show on tv.but on pc.????????????but only got half a screen.
