To recover the deleted file without using any software, you need to right-click the folder from which file was deleted & click "Restore Previous Versions". If available, select the date & time of previous version you want to restore to & open the folder. You can see a list of backup of files on the selected date. Choose the one you require & drag/copy it to the desired location. That's it, you are back with the deleted files. However, to use this method, you need to remember the location of folder from which files are deleted. Also Windows backup do not store the backup files in case of absence of restore points. In such cases, you will get the screen as this one stating that no previous versions are available. This is where you will be in need of a good software. You can find many over internet.
