How to Restore Lost Saves from Skyrim / Any Game

If anyone needs additional help I'd be glad to help over a Google+ Hangout. Windows 7 only: If you lost or deleted your save file this should let you restore it back. Use the latest restore point that you see. If you don't see a restore point your computer didn't back it up so this won't work. Sadly this method will not work for a PS3 or Xbox. Thank you guys so much for all the positive feedback, it has been really awesome.

  6. My PC got fucked up and I had to do a full reset of everything. I lost 28 hours of play time. I had just finished the Dark Brotherhood main quest and when I logged in again I was meeting Cicero. I am so fucking pissed off.

    EDIT: Even worse. It took me back to level 5.

  12. Could this possibly work for console too? My only save on my main save file was an auto and I accidentally wrote over it? If I transfer my Skyrim data from my Xbox to a flash drive could I possibly do this same thing?

  16. I did as you said, I choose the version from a few ays back but it didn't restored my files.

  20. This method did't work for me, but the game made a ".bak" file just remove the ".bak" and then ist should work.
