UPDATED VIDEO It's MUCH EASIER: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzzDxrccZO8 How-to Restore/Unroot/Upgrade Any NEXUS to factory image on MAC Downloads: Updated ADT Bundle https://copy.com/kz9zFTkYDH2cWNw0 Factory Images https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images Code Type each of these lines followed by Enter between them, waiting for one to finish before moving on to the next: ./fastboot erase boot ./fastboot erase cache ./fastboot erase recovery ./fastboot erase system ./fastboot erase userdata This command will flash the stock bootloader on to your device. Enter: ./fastboot flash bootloader nameofyourbootloader Now reboot the bootloader: ./fastboot reboot-bootloader **IF you have the 3G/HSPA+ Nexus device you should flash the radio file as well. Wifi-only Nexus devices skip this step. To flash the radio file: ./fastboot flash radio nameofyourradio This next command will both wipe your old system and flash the factory image in its place, which includes the stock system, recovery, kernel, and userdata partitions: ./fastboot -w update nameofyourimage Subscribe to my new Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnH9msImOhV75fs18NwNFqA Follow me on Twitter! https://twitter.com/raybansnfedora Nexus 7: http://amzn.to/2f1RgIA

  2. Raybans, I need your help! My Nexus 4 on 4.4.3 is stuck in a boot loop! I don't know how this happened; however the [fix root? (Yes)] option in CWM recovery is missing! and I can't boot into safe mode to uninstall an app that I think might be causing this; (My phone died while I was using Hangouts and the bottom LED light flashed twice. That's the last thing I remembered before my phone became....a paper weight. Do you have any suggestions? Is there a way to boot into Safe Mode via. ADB or a button command on KitKat? I freally do not want to factory reset my device. I have too many unupdated apps and pictures and personal things on my phone that I've been building for... well 4 years since I've gotten the phone. Any advice will be appreciated, - Milo

  9. Hi, I know this is an older video but will these instructions work for Moto Nexus 6? Flashing factory image for marshmallow 6,0.1? Also if I'm successful, will the phone continue to get OTA updates or should I do this every time a new image is released? Thanks

  12. The phone didn't reboot on its own after the last step, so I rebooted via fastboot (./fastboot reboot). It started to reboot, but went back into recovery. The phone said boot and recovery wasn't installed, so I installed boot.img (./fastboot flash boot <drag n dropped file>) and "./fastboot reboot" again. Now the phone's stuck on the boot screen (showing Google and the unlocked pad lock). If there's any help that could be given, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  20. Hello again, i commented on your other video about having some trouble flashing my Nexus 6 device so i can be able to unroot it. In this particular video, you provide a link to download the adt bundle file but it takes you to download the platform tools directly so i cant do all the first steps you did. Any thoughts? +raybansandfedora
