  6. I have an USB with windows 8, that I used when I installed W8 first time. I guess thats the Windows 8 USB I need, but. I do all of the things you´re saying, but it keep telling me, that some files are missing and I need to put them there, but the USB is in and it still doesn´t work. Please answer as fast as is possible, I really want to reinstall it. Thank you.
  7. Mine gets stuck before it lists the files to be backed up... waited for hours with a spinning circle. How do I skip the backup? I just want to re-install windows!
  8. I'm creating a recovery usb now, I want to do a factory reset.
My partitions are screwed up, no backup. It got formatted in Disk Manager.
    There are 7 partitions
    350GB (Recovery Partition)
    350GB (Recovery Partition)
    13.5GB (Recovery Partition)
    499MB (E: Drive I formated)
    500MB (EFI System Partition)
    40MB (OEM System Partition)
13GB I assume thats where OS image disk plus dell software is stored/backed up at. I dont know except i see it except in Disk Manager, cant boot from it or do any restores / recoveries because it says files are missing.
Creating a reinstall disk usb now....

Will doing a factory restore also repair / restore partition to factory state?
Is this the right way to do it? USB Reintall disk?
    Thanks
