How to: Root ASUS TF300 + CWM Recovery (Works on ALL Firmware)

Hey guys, just like promised, this is the second method on ROOTING the ASUS Transformer Pad 300. This process will Flash ClockWorksMod recovery on the Tablet and doing so will allow you to flash the ROOT-signed.zip :D NOTE: You need to have an UNLOCKED Bootloader, which does void your warranty. Also I am not responsible for the outcome of the device. Thanks! If you ONLY want to ROOT, try this Third method called DebugFS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1706588 What you need: Unlocked Bootloader http://www.asus.com/Tablet/Transformer_Pad/ASUS_Transformer_Pad_TF300T/#download You can find it under Android then Utilities. The first option is to get the Unlocker tool.   8. I can't seem to get the usb symbol in the middle like on here. Here's the problem i'm having:
    Can't get the USB symbol in the middle everytime i try to do the RCK and boot into the recovery i get the dead android with the Red triangle over it. Fastboot is recognizing the tablet (asus tf300t 4.2.1) but i just can't seem to get it to flash the custom recovery image i get error: can't load image. Anyone else have this problem??? Any ideas

  10. guys this worked perfectly fine with my asus transformer tablet tf300t. just follow the prompt you cant any mistakes whatever the guy does that the steps you take. like monkey see monkey do lol. anyways make sure that the bootloader is unlocked before you start this process.
  11. I have the ASUS TF300T and I did step by step all that you said in the video. My problem is in the final proces, that keeps frozen in the same screen of your tablet at second 7:40 of your video. It doesn't launch the recovery.

  13. for some reason when i do the fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery recovery.img part nothing happens it just shows my a bunch of possible commands :(

  17. How come when i press volume down and power in same time i don't have the USB image in middle. I have RCK image, Android and Wipe data. How can i have USB thing on my Tablet. I did usb debogging in my tablet.

  20. Having a bit of trouble with this. From the start.   I let windows/tablet auto install driving to my computer, I downloaded the bootloader unlocker to the tablet and unlocked the tablet.  (4.2 JB)    I installed fastboot to the computer like a few other sites say.    Im to the point where I have to turn off the tablet and power on V down.  When I do that it displays
    Key driver not found.. booting os

    starting fastboot usb download protocol 

    then I see a RCK, Android, Wipe Data 

    Ive read  in a few places that you can still do the fastboot recovery stuff so I tried based of your video. with CMD and I get a waiting on device.     as far as I know all drivers are installed   every thing is just sitting there ideal
