1. Download these 4 files: Odin3 v.1.85.exe: http://www.mediafire.com/?wb4v07bt9qo9999 Odin3.ini: http://www.mediafire.com/?wctagcl17ikhn2f Recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5 http://www.mediafire.com/?ww4036x3vw6h3bc SamsungGalaxyTabRoot.zip http://www.mediafire.com/?zavow5b2oo0of0e 2.Before plugging in your Galaxy Tab 10.1 to your computer, go into settings/Applications (application settings) on your Galaxy Tab. Go to Development/USB Debugging and make sure USB Debugging is checked on. 3. While still in the settings app, scroll all the way down to the bottom to "About Device" and make sure your Android Version is 3.1 or 3.2. Next make sure your Model Number is GT-P7500 or GT-P7510. If its not this method wont work for you, so do not try this because it may result in a continuous boot (boot loop). 4. Plug in your Galaxy Tab 10.1 to your Windows computer and make sure you downloaded the files in step 1. 5. Reboot the tab by holding the, Volume down(left volume key)+Power Button until you see 2 images. Now you may release these buttons. Once released you will need to hit the volume up (right volume key) to go into downloading mode (Odin Download Mode) then press volume up again on the message it gives you (Are You Sure you want to install a custom OS...) once you hit the volume up key after this message you should now be in downloading mode. 6. Wait for your computer to install the drivers automatically. 7. Once the computer has automatically installed the drivers (mine were already installed so I didn't have to wait for them to install) Open the program "Odin3 v.1.85.exe" you downloaded in step 1. 8. Make sure there is a box under ID:COM that is highlighted in yellow and says "COM#" (mine was COM24) this will ensure that your Galaxy Tab 10.1 is connected. 9. Click the "PDA" button and browse for your Desktop and find "Recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5" which you downloaded in step 1. 10. Once you have made sure your Galaxy Tab 10.1 is connected an you have selected the PDA file, then Click "Start. 11. Once you get a message saying "PASS" in the box in the Odin application you are in, Your Galaxy Tab 10.1 should have just rebooted (restarted) automatically. 12. When your tab starts back up make sure your tab is still connected. 13. Go to "Open Folder to View Files" on your computer and open the "Tablet" folder. 14. Drag the "SamsungGalaxyTabRoot.zip" to the root (main page) of your Tablet storage. 15. Once you have moved the file to your tab, reboot using the volume "down+power" button until you see the 2 images like you did in step 5. 16. Once you see the 2 images, press the left side volume key (volume down) and then the right side volume key (volume up), you should now be in clockworkmod recovery. 17. Using the volume keys to scroll up and down and the power button to select, scroll down to "Install zip from sdcard" and Press the Power button. 18. Scroll down to "Choose zip from sdcard" and scroll down until you find the file SamsungGalaxyTabRoot.zip and press the Power button 19. Scroll down to Yes - install SamsungGalaxyTabRoot.zip and press the power button to select it. 20. Once it is done it will say Install from sdcard complete. Now scroll down to "*****Go Back*****". Press Power to select. 21. Reboot system now using the power button 22. Once the tab has booted up (started up) unlock your tab, go into "Apps" and make sure you have an app called "Superuser" if you do not complete the whole process over again because it did not work (but it should have worked). 23. You should now have a rooted Galaxy Tab 10.1 Please Rate Comment and Subscribe! also I will not be held responsible if something messes up, but I dont know how this process could mess it up because I have used this method over and over and has never messed up, I have got a successful root everytime I have used this method.
